Power for the speakers you already own.
The mixer is patched and the songs are rehearsed. Between them and the room stand two passive speakers, waiting for power. The A800 is that link: a Class-D amplifier of 3.2 kg, 483 mm wide.
Stereo pair or one bridged speaker
In stereo mode, each channel delivers 220 W into 8 Ω or 400 W into 4 Ω. Flip the STEREO/BRIDGED MONO switch and it drives a single speaker with 800 W at 8 Ω. Power it down with the POWER switch each time you change the operating mode.

From a singer-songwriter set to a DJ booth
Each channel takes XLR, ¼" TRS or RCA. A mixer, a DJ setup or a guitar rig plugs straight in. Speakers connect through twist-locking outputs, or as bare wire on the binding posts.

Lights that tell you when to back off
Signal LEDs read from -30 dB to 0 dB. If the CLIP LED lights, reduce the input level until it stops. If the PROT LED lights, the protection circuit has muted the output: switch the A800 off at once. Protection also covers short circuit current and DC faults, with a thermal cut and an AC fuse.
