Hear the room as it really is.
You set up the PA in a new venue. The bass booms by the bar, and the vocals sound thin at the back. The doors open soon. Stop guessing and measure what every seat will hear. The ECM8000 is a measurement microphone that hears the room evenly, so your analyser shows what is really there.
Measure the room before the audience arrives
Its true omnidirectional pattern picks up sound evenly from all directions. The frequency response, 20 Hz to 20 kHz, is designed to be flat. Pair it with the Behringer ULTRACURVE to equalise the room. Its low-noise transformerless FET input avoids low-frequency distortion, so the bass you measure is the bass in the room.
From measuring to recording
Once the room is right, use it for high-resolution studio recording or live sound. It runs on phantom power from +15 to +48 V and weighs 136 g. A gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector carries the signal. A swivel stand mount and a transport case are included.
