Four voices up front, everything else in stereo.
In your band, four of you sing. The keyboards and the laptop arrive in stereo. Four microphone channels with compressors and four stereo inputs match that line-up.
A compressor for each singer
Each XLR input feeds a XENYX Mic Preamp, with switchable +48 V phantom power for condenser microphones. Turn a channel's COMP knob clockwise for more compression. Loud peaks are squashed and quiet passages lifted. Shape each voice with a 3-band EQ whose mid band tunes from 100 Hz to 8 kHz. Four rear inserts take outboard processors.

An effect in the wedge as well
Aux 1 feeds the monitor amplifier. On this model, AUX SEND 2 drives the effects. Patch an external effects unit from there into STEREO AUX RETURN 1. The STEREO AUX RETURN 1 (TO AUX SEND 1) control then blends that effect into the monitor mix. The built-in processor offers 16 presets of its own.

Tracks in, rehearsal out
Each stereo input has a LEVEL switch for +4 dBu or -10 dBV sources. Press 2-TR/USB TO MAIN to bring computer playback into the main mix. Over USB, the computer receives a stereo copy of the MAIN MIX at 16-bit/48 kHz.
