One mixer has to serve the band, the singers and the backing tracks. X1832USB puts 18 inputs, effects and a USB audio interface on one desk. Tools for feedback and for vocals are built in.
Spot feedback on the faders
In this series, only X1832USB has the 9-band graphic EQ. With the EQ on, FBQ Feedback Detection lights LEDs in the band faders at critical frequencies. Lower that band a little. To protect stage monitors instead, switch the EQ to the monitor mix.
Take the vocal out of a track
The Voice Canceller removes most of the vocal from a recording on the CD/TAPE inputs. Use the backing for karaoke, or rehearse a difficult part over a complete playback.
Channels built around the voice
Mono channels have XLR inputs, with switchable +48 V phantom power. Each one also has a compressor on one COMP knob and a 3-band EQ with semi-parametric mid. A dedicated MON OUT with its own MON SEND fader feeds the monitor mix. The effects processor offers 16 presets, and USB carries stereo in and out.
