Soundcheck is in twenty minutes, and your favourite compressor is in the rack. The drummer wants more kick in the wedge, and the singer wants reverb. On the X2222USB, that compressor, the wedge mix and the vocal reverb all meet on one desk. Eight channel inserts put your own processors right in the signal path.
Eight microphones, each shaped
Eight XENYX mic preamps offer +10 to +60 dB of gain. Switchable +48 V phantom power runs condenser microphones. A one-knob compressor and a mid EQ that sweeps from 100 Hz to 8 kHz shape each voice.
Monitors and effects on one desk
Three aux sends feed wedges and effects units. Three stereo aux returns bring your effects back into the mix. The 24-bit multi-FX processor adds reverb, delay, chorus, flanger and pitch shift. Press TAP in rhythm with the band to set the tempo.
Take the gig home
Send stereo audio over USB at 48 kHz and record it on your computer. Tomorrow, the band hears the night again and decides what to change.
