Ten mics, four subgroups, one engineer.
A full band on stage means a lot of channels and only two hands at the desk. The QX2442USB brings 10 XENYX mic preamps to that job. Every mono channel has a COMP knob to set how much compression it gets.
Many channels, a few faders
Press SUB 1-2 or SUB 3-4 on a channel to route it to the subgroups. SUB faders set the level at the SUB OUTPUT jacks. The LEFT/RIGHT buttons assign each subgroup to the main mix. When recording, pan hard left or right to send a channel to just one group output.

Monitors and effects for the stage
Press PRE when an aux feeds a stage monitor. The FX knob sends a channel to the Klark Teknik multi-FX processor, with hall, room, delay and modulation presets. Channels 9/10 and 11/12 add XLR mic inputs with phantom power. The wireless input takes a USB receiver for Behringer ULM wireless microphones. It accepts signals from 2 independent mics.

A computer on the same desk
USB carries stereo audio in and out at 48 kHz. Press USB/2-TR TO MAIN to bring computer playback into the main mix. The MODE button switches SOLO between Solo in Place and Pre-Fader Listen, which is preferred for setting gain.
