XENYX 1002SFX

10-input analogue mixer with a USB streaming interface, built-in Klark Teknik effects and RCA stream connections

Händler finden XENYX 1002SFX (0601-AHQ)

Open mic night, mixed by hand on a small table.

Two singers, an acoustic guitar and a backing track from a laptop. Between acts, you reset every level by hand. This analogue mixer gives you a knob for each decision and weighs 1.1 kg.

Voices shaped one channel at a time

Each mono channel has an XLR microphone input. The PHANTOM button sends +48 V to the XLR connectors of all mono channels, ready for condenser mics. Their 3-band EQ boosts or cuts each band by up to 15 dB. A steep LOW CUT filter clears away unwanted low frequencies.

Built-in effects, or your own

Turn up a channel's FX control to feed the built-in Klark Teknik effects processor. Turn PROGRAM to choose an effect, then press it to confirm. FX TO MAIN feeds the effect into the main mix. Prefer an external effects device? Connect it to the FX SEND output and return it on a stereo channel. Keep that channel's FX control at minimum.

From the stage to a computer or a recorder

Over USB it is a class-compliant stereo audio interface. Computer audio arrives on the last pair of stereo channels, unless a jack is plugged in there. The RCA STREAM OUTPUT feeds a recorder from the main mix, 12 dB lower to match home recording level. The mixer runs from its included power adapter, because USB cannot power it.
