Between songs, the drummer points at the wedge and asks for more bass. There is no time to dig through a menu. On WING COMPACT you press that bus key, and the 12 channel faders become the drummer's monitor mix. Move one fader. The drummer nods, and the next song starts on time.
Built for fast monitor changes
The main fader section is built for quick changes to bus sends. Its 16 hot keys switch the faders to sends for any of the 16 stereo buses. A scribble strip on every fader shows the number, name and icon of what it controls.
Stereo sources in a single channel
All 40 input channels and 8 aux channels process mono or stereo, with no channel linking. A stereo keyboard or playback track needs only one channel. Most controls can also be edited on the touch screen.
Inputs where the band stands
Three AES50 ports each carry up to 48 inputs and outputs to and from digital stage boxes. Your X32 series mixers and stage boxes work with it too. StageConnect carries up to 32 channels over one standard balanced XLR cable, so the stage stays tidy.
