The mixer you already own joins the mix.

At rehearsal, the band asks to mix from a tablet. You have a few microphones, a lot of line-level gear and an analogue desk that still works. Keep the desk. XR12 is made for that setup: four mic preamps, eight line inputs, and your old mixer as a sub mixer.

Room for the gear you already own

Four Midas-designed preamps sit on combo jacks, with 48 V phantom power switchable per input. Keyboards and other line sources plug into eight balanced TRS inputs. Channels 11 and 12 also take a guitar or bass directly. Feed the XR12 from the insert sends of an analogue mixer such as the QX2222USB. Your old desk becomes its sub mixer.

Let four devices join the mix

In access point mode, the integrated Wi-Fi module lets four devices join at once. X AIR runs on Android and iPad tablets and on PC, Mac and Linux. Two balanced aux outputs feed headphone mixers or stage monitors.

Every song on cue

Send MIDI program changes to recall up to 64 snapshots between songs. A USB flash drive records the show as stereo WAV files, ready to play back after the gig. The old desk still works, and now the band mixes from a tablet.
