Put the inputs where the band plays.
The band is on stage, the X32 sits at the back, and every microphone has to reach it. The SD8 takes eight inputs on stage. It sends them to the mixer over one Cat-5e cable, with runs of up to 100 m.
Eight Midas preamps beside the microphones
The eight Midas-designed preamps are remote-controllable, with 48 V phantom power switchable per input. Channels 7 and 8 accept high-impedance signals, so guitars and basses plug in directly.

Personal mixes powered from the box
Two ULTRANET ports connect up to two P16-M personal mixers. They also provide phantom power, so the P16-M units operate without additional power supplies.

Returns on stage, and room to add more
Eight balanced XLR outputs feed active monitors on stage. A 3-position switch on the side selects AES50-A channels 1 to 8, 9 to 16 or 17 to 24. Need more inputs? Connect an additional stage box to AES50 port B.
