Three audio networks, one small converter.
Your X18 or XR18 sends Ultranet. Your WING console and P24 monitoring system use StageConnect. Your computer talks USB. SC-U is a three-way converter between them, and it adapts its internal routing to the connections you make.
A stage box and personal monitors for WING
Use an X18, XR18 or MR18 mixer as a stage box with a WING console. SC-U converts 16 channels from Ultranet to StageConnect. Asynchronous sample rate conversion keeps the clocks on both consoles separate. In the other direction, the P16 monitoring system works with WING, and both setups can run together.
Add a computer to the network
The USB-C port carries up to 32 channels in four in/out configurations: 32/0, 24/8, 16/16 or 8/24. In many setups the configuration is fixed. Play 16 channels from a computer to a P16 monitoring system or a Turbosound iQ speaker system. Or connect an additional computer to WING without using its USB Type-B connector. It works with Windows 10 and 11, OSX and Linux.
Power from the chain, long cable runs
Depending on the host, SC-U can take remote power over StageConnect. Otherwise use the included 12 V DC adapter. Ultranet reaches up to 75 metres on shielded CAT5e, and StageConnect up to 40 metres on 110 Ω DMX cable. Latency is 0.1 ms.
