Second song, and you cannot hear the singer over the drums. You wave at the engineer, who is busy with the room. With the P16-HQ, more vocal is one control away. Sixteen channels arrive from the mixer, and the balance is in your hands.
Bass, sweepable mid and treble on every channel
Press a channel select button, then set its volume, pan, bass, mid and treble. The semi-parametric mid sweeps from 100 Hz to 10 kHz. Link channels into stereo pairs, group several, or solo one to hear it alone. A limiter on the master output holds back sudden peaks.
Store the mix tonight. Recall it at rehearsal
Store a finished mix in one of 16 user presets and bring it back at the next rehearsal. Listen on headphones from the ¼" output, with up to 400 mW into 30 Ω.
One cable from the mixer
A single shielded CAT5 cable brings in 16 channels from Ultranet devices. From an optional P16-D distributor, the same cable also powers the P16-HQ. Without one, use the included power supply. Ultranet thru passes the signal on, so the next player gets a mix of their own too. A line output and MIDI control are on the back.
