Build the set while you play it.
The floor is with you and the next track needs something extra. On the DDM4000 you record a phrase to the sampler. Then play it back as a loop or in reverse. Five channels, four effects sections and two BPM counters share one desk.
Shape every channel by hand
Each input channel has a 3-band EQ with kill, so you can mute the lows, mids or highs. Turntables connect to the phono inputs, CD players to the line inputs. The replaceable crossfader fades between the signals you assign to sides A and B.
Loops counted in beats
Set the sample length from 1 to 16 beats, or record without a limit. Bounce makes the signal jump from A to B and back, at a rate of one to 16 beats. Depending on the effect, the BEAT buttons set time-related parameters in beats, not milliseconds.
Talk, cue and sync
Press TALK ON and the music drops as soon as you speak into the microphone. With SPLIT, you hear the PFL signal in your left ear and the PGM signal in your right. MIDI IN, OUT and THRU connect external MIDI equipment and synchronise with its MIDI clock.
