Read the tempo, then trust your ears.

The floor is full and the next track has to land on the beat. Two BPM counters show the tempo of the tracks routed to the crossfader. You still mix by ear, with a lot less guesswork. Turntables connect to the PHONO inputs of channels 2 to 4.

See when two tracks agree

Once a counter shows a realistic value, SYNC LOCK limits the range of possible tempo values. Or press BEAT ASSIST at least three times in time with the song. With both tempi fixed, the TEMPO DIFFERENCE LEDs show which track is slower. When the middle TIME OFFSET LED lights up, the tracks are synchronised.

Take the bass out, bring it back

Each stereo channel has a 3-band EQ with kill. It cuts down to -32 dB and boosts up to +12 dB. KILL A and KILL B lower LOW, MID and HIGH on either side of the crossfader. CF CURVE sets the crossfader anywhere between linear and logarithmic.

Talk to the room

Speak into the mic while a track runs, and talkover lowers the music for you. The TALK control sets how far, up to -24 dB. The effects processor takes the master, an input channel or the mic. Delay and echo are set in BPM, from 80 to 160.
