The 1980s drum sounds, plus your own.
You hear the beat on the way home, and you know which snare it needs. It is the kitchen snare you recorded last week, waiting for this track. LM DRUM brings back the sounds of the first sample-based drum machine from the 1980s. Then it lets you sample your own beside them, in banks you build.
Sample it, trim it, give it a pad
Plug a line source into the record input. A dynamic microphone works too, with care on the input level. Set a threshold and record. Trim the sample, name it and assign it to any pad in place of the default sound. There are 310 seconds of user sample time.

Program it, or play it
Its sequencer workflow is adapted from the RD-8 and RD-9. Write steps by hand or record in real time, then add micro timing and probability. Chain songs into a setlist. Or connect an electronic drum kit and play it with full velocity sensitivity.

A track for every drum
Tune the snares, toms and congas with their own controls. Send each drum from its own voice output to its own mixer channel. Trigger outputs and sync keep the rest of your analogue rig playing along.
