Classic drum sounds, plus the ones you record yourself.
The groove is nearly there. The kick sits right, but the snare needs a sound nobody else has. With the RD-765, you record that sound yourself and give it a channel in the kit.
176 sounds and your own samples
The RD-765 holds 176 drum sounds. Record new samples through the user sampling menu and assign them to an instrument channel. Tune any sample over a range of 24 semitones up or down.

Shape every hit
The Wave Designer attack control adds punch to the initial transient. The dual-mode analogue filter runs as low-pass or high-pass, and you can assign it to single voices. A bitcrusher lowers the bit depth of samples when you want grit.

Write patterns your way
Play beats in real time or set them step by step, across up to 64 steps. Swing runs from 25 to 75. A per-voice probability setting lets notes come and go, so a pattern keeps moving. Record filter cutoff moves into the pattern as you play. MIDI and USB link the RD-765 to the rest of your setup.
