Learn the groove before anyone else hears it.
Every drummer starts by playing the same beat again and again. The XD80USB is an electronic drum set for that work. Plug headphones into PHONES and set the VOLUME knob to suit you.
A practice partner in the module
Hold PAGE/SELECT to switch between NORMAL and LEARNING modes. In LEARNING mode, choose a PATTERN, RHYTHM or BEAT to play. A moving display shows the metronome moving with the beat. SLOW, GOOD or FAST tells you how your timing is going. Press and hold PLAY/PRACTICE to play back the last scoring session.
Songs, kits and your own playing
Choose from 15 drum sets and 175 sounds, and pick a VOICE for each pad or cymbal. In NORMAL mode, pick a SONG to play along to. DRUM OFF mutes or unmutes its drum track. RECORD captures your playing. AUX IN connects an MP3 player, CD player or computer audio to play along to.
Room to grow
USB sends and receives MIDI with a computer, and MIDI I/O connects other MIDI devices. Add an optional fourth tom pad and a second crash. The line outputs connect to a mixer or active speaker. The supplied power adapter connects to DC IN.
