Your bass tone, from a reggae groove to a slap solo.
One song wants a fat, round low end. The next needs attack for the slap line. This bass driver uses tube emulation for the sound and response of a miked bass tube amp. Its manual offers sample settings named FAT TUBE, SLAP, REGGAE and SOLO.
Push it like a tube amp
DRIVE adds gain and overdrive, similar to pushing the output section of a tube amp. You get ±12 dB of boost or cut on BASS and on TREBLE. PRESENCE lifts the upper harmonics for a smoother high end and more attack. BLEND sets the amount of tube emulation.

A line the engineer can take
Run an XLR cable from BAL OUT, a balanced mic-level output, to the mixing console. Your bass amp takes its feed from the ¼" TS OUT. Need the plain signal for a song? Step on the footswitch and EQ, DRIVE and tube emulation drop out. What remains is a standard transparent DI box.

Runs on a 9 V battery
There is no on/off switch. A plug in the INPUT turns it on, so unplug between sessions to save the 9 V battery. A 9 V power supply for DC IN is not included.
