Put the sweep where your instrument lives.
A wah only speaks when its sweep sits in the range you play. On the HELLBABE HB01 you set that range yourself, on guitar or on bass. It is a wah-wah pedal with optical control. Put your foot on the pedal and move it, and the effect is on.
Shape the sweep and the peak
The RANGE control extends the heel-down frequency to match bass guitars, for example 440 Hz to 250 Hz. FINE extends the toe-down end of the sweep up to 2.2 kHz. The Q control shapes the filter peak. Turn it right for a large, selective peak, or left for a subtle, broad one.
A boost for the moment you step forward
The BOOST switch raises the output level, but only while the wah is on. The BOOST control sets that boost up to +15 dB. The BOOST-LED lights when the boost is active.
Hands free when you step off
Take your foot off the pedal and the effect switches off. The TIMER ADJ control, reached through a hole in the housing, sets how long it stays active first. The ROCKER SCREW adjusts the resistance of the rocker. The OUT/BYPASS connector works as a second output or as a bypass hard wired to the input. Power comes from a 9 V battery or a 9 V supply, not included.
