Play once, hear it come back.
Some songs want a slow trail of repeats. Others want a quick answer to every note. The VD400 is a vintage analogue delay pedal that puts both under three controls.
Three controls shape the echo
REPEAT RATE sets the delay time. ECHO sets the effect output level. INTENSITY sets the number of repetitions. Different tempo settings give you different delay effects.

Wet to one amp, dry to another
With only OUT connected, you hear the echo when the effect is on. When it is off, you hear your clean signal. Use OUT and DIR OUT together and the VD400 acts like an A/B box. When it is on, OUT sends only the echo and DIR OUT carries the dry signal.

At home on the pedalboard
The footswitch turns the effect on and off, and the ON/BATT LED doubles as a battery level indicator. Power it with a 9 V battery or a 9 V supply, neither included. There is no on/off switch, so unplug the input cable to save the battery. It weighs about 0.33 kg.
