From warm blues overdrive to heavy distortion.
The rhythm part sits fine on your clean amp. Then the solo arrives and needs more push. The VT999 adds it with a real vacuum tube, a hand-selected Bugera 12AX7B. It sits between your guitar and the amp.
Gain and tone at your feet
GAIN sets the amount of distortion and MASTER sets the output level. TREBLE, MID and BASS boost or cut the high, mid and low frequencies. Step on the footswitch to turn the effect on or off. The DRIVE LED lights while it is active.

Quiet between the notes
Switch on NOISE GATE to reduce noise during quiet passages. THRESHOLD sets the input level at which the gate starts its noise reduction.

Six places to start
The sample settings in the manual give you six starting points. They include Crunch, Gain Boost, Hard Drive and Metal Drive. Your instrument cable goes into the ¼" TS IN and the ¼" TS OUT feeds your amp. The 9 V, 300 mA adaptor is included.
