A bass line with some growl can carry a whole chorus. This effects pedal is designed specifically for bass applications. It aims for tube-like distortion, smooth sustain and a fat tone.
Blend the dry signal back in
The BAL control sets the amount of the dry direct signal against the effect signal. GAIN sets the amount of overdrive, and LEVEL sets the output level.
Shape the top and the bottom
HIGH and LOW boost or cut the high- and low-frequency ranges. The footswitch turns the effect on and off. The ON/BATT LED lights when the effect is active and also shows the battery level.
Battery or power supply
Run it on a 9 V battery, or plug a 9 V power supply (not included) into DC IN. There is no on/off switch: plugging a jack into IN starts the pedal. Remove the jack after playing to extend battery life. It measures about 54 x 70 x 123 mm and weighs about 0.33 kg.
