The PROTON's semi-modular design needs no patching. When curiosity takes over, 64 patch points let you reroute it. They also connect it to external equipment.
Two oscillators, one note or two
Each analogue VCO switches or blends between five waveforms. Each also has a sub-oscillator one octave below. Sync locks the cycle of Osc 2 to Osc 1. Press para, and playing two notes assigns one to each oscillator.
Filter, fold and add your own audio
The two 12 dB/octave filters each switch between low pass, band pass and high pass. At the highest resonance settings they self-oscillate. Run them in parallel or in series. The wave folder folds a waveform back onto itself to create complex harmonics. External audio can feed one or both filters.
From desktop to Eurorack case
Play it from a keyboard or DAW over 5-pin DIN or USB MIDI, with no drivers on Mac or Windows. Keep it on the desk, or move the module to a Eurorack case at 80 HP. Model D rack ears, supplied separately, fit it to a 19" rack. In a Eurorack case, the rear panel is no longer available.
