Play your modular from a keyboard or a computer.
Your Eurorack case speaks in control voltages. Your keyboard and your computer speak MIDI. The CM1A sits between them in 6 HP and sends notes on to your modules as CV and trigger signals.
Two ways in, one way through
Connect a MIDI controller to MIDI IN, or a computer over USB. Either one drives the CV and TRIG outputs. MIDI THRU passes the signals received at MIDI IN on to other devices.

Set up for your synth family
One button configures the CM1A for synth families offered by Behringer. A short press switches the CV range between System 15/35/55 and System 100/2500 series modules. Press and hold to switch between monophonic and duophonic operation. Two LEDs show the setting.

V-trig, S-trig or one of each
TRIG MODE sets the TRIG outputs to V-trig or S-trig. In the middle position, the upper output gives S-trig and the lower one V-trig.
Fine-tune it from SynthTribe
The SYNTHTRIBE application from behringer.com adjusts pitch bend range and note range, from C0 to C9. It also selects the MIDI channel, 1 to 16, and the CV mode. Firmware updates arrive over the same USB connection.
