Eight channels that can take turns.
Patch eight sounds in, then decide. Blend them as a mix, or let the module step from one channel to the next in time. The 1050 does both in 24 HP of Eurorack space.
Two groups or one mix
Each channel has its own level knob, colour-coded into two groups of four. In 4-channel mode, LEVEL A and LEVEL B set each group. With the COUNTER/MIXER switch on the left, channels 1 to 4 leave from OUT A. Channels 5 to 8 leave from OUT B. Switch to a single mix and both outputs carry the same mono signal.
A sequencer in the mixer
With PULSE GEN on, the internal pulse generator advances through the channels. PULSE RATE runs from 0.5 Hz to 150 Hz. The COUNTER switch sets how many steps play before the cycle repeats. EXT ADV takes gate or clock signals to clock the sequence from outside. With COUNTER set to OFF, a red EXCLUSIVE-ON button solos its channel for a preview.
Hand the clock to a 1027
The included 12-way cable connects the 1050 to a 1027 module. With EXT GATE set to ENABLE, the 1027 becomes the master. Clock from both COUNTER and EXT GATE at once to produce random effects.
