Four VCAs that turn into a mixer when you need one.
Sooner or later, every patch needs a level that follows a voltage, or several sources in one output. FOUR PLAY gives you both in 12 HP: four voltage-controlled amplifiers and a mixer.
One cable can drive all four
Each channel has its own CV input, with a CV ATTENUATOR to reduce it. A CV input cascades to the channels below that have no CV cable. Connect only CV IN 1 and it controls all 4 channels. Each CV LED lights green for positive CV and red for negative CV.
Choose how each channel responds
CURVE sets the VCA response of each channel, continuously from exponential to linear. LEVEL sets the output of each channel, and follows the curve you chose. BOOST raises the input gain by +6 dB. Every input takes audio or CV signals.
Four in, one out
An output without a cable is mixed with the channels to its right. Connect only the 4/Mix output and the module works as a 4 into 1 mixer. Mix by hand with the LEVEL controls, or with voltages at the CV inputs. Maximum attenuation is -97 dB at 1 kHz. The power cable and mounting screws are included.
