One shape, four voltages moving together.
A patch comes alive when its voltages move. WAVES makes an envelope or a cycling wave. It has one main output, and three more derived from it according to the control settings.
Three modes on one button
MODE selects a unipolar one-shot AD envelope, a bipolar cyclic LFO/VCO or a unipolar one-shot ASR envelope. The envelopes run from 0 V to +8 V. The LFO/VCO runs from -5 V to +5 V. FREQUENCY RANGE centres the control on 1/8 Hz, 2 Hz or 131 Hz. FREQUENCY then covers -4 to +4 octaves.

Slope, fold and smooth
SLOPE moves from a sawtooth through a triangle to a ramp wave. SHAPE sets the shape of the output waveforms. Turn SMOOTHNESS one way for a low pass filter. Turn it the other way for a wavefolder that adds peaks and troughs.

Four outputs, one relationship
RELATIONSHIP sets how the four CV outputs relate. SHIFT/LEVEL can then crossfade between them, offset their peaks or adjust their ratios. SLOPE, FREQUENCY, SMOOTHNESS, SHAPE and SHIFT/LEVEL each have an attenuverter for external CV. VOLT/OCTAVE lets FREQUENCY track an external volt/octave source. CLOCK clocks the frequency from an external source. Mounting screws and the power cable are included.
