Every sound starts with a fader you can see.
The idea arrives while you play, and you want to chase it with your hands. On this analogue synthesiser, oscillators, filter and envelopes are set with faders and switches. The 37 semi-weighted, full-size keys sense velocity.
Two oscillators, two notes
VCO-2 can sync to VCO-1, and the NOISE/RING MOD fader adds ring modulation to the mix. Play two keys at once: VCO-1 plays the lowest note, VCO-2 the highest. Press the pressure-sensitive pitch pads harder for a stronger bend or more LFO.
Three filters behind one switch
VCF MODE chooses from three classic filter types: one 2-pole and two 4-pole. A high-pass filter and DRIVE shape the tone further. AR and ADSR envelopes can control the VCF and VCA separately.
Patterns that grow while you edit
Program up to 32 steps of notes and rests per pattern. Save up to 64 patterns in 8 banks of 8. In step editing, hold SHIFT and move PORTAMENTO to split a step into up to 4 ratchets. Hold SHIFT during playback to set the swing.
Out to the studio and the modular rack
Pick from 32 Klark Teknik FX programs. Over USB, it shows up as a class-compliant MIDI device, next to 5-pin MIDI in and out. CV, gate and trigger jacks connect compatible modular synthesiser equipment.
