A 0.15 kg analogue synth powered by your laptop.
A bass line comes to you on the sofa, in a hotel room or backstage before the show. UB-1 MICRO is small enough to be there before the idea is gone. This monophonic analogue synthesiser draws its power over USB-C from a laptop or a USB charger. Plug in headphones and the idea has somewhere to go.
Two oscillators, two envelopes, two LFOs
OSC2 offers sawtooth, triangle or square, and OSC1 adds pulse width modulation. Add a sub-oscillator or noise underneath. The 24 dB/octave analogue filter and the amplifier each have their own envelope, and two LFOs add movement. With sync on, pitch bend sweeps OSC 2 alone for sync-style leads.

Tap a key, start a pattern
Play the 16 touch keys, or let the arpeggiator climb, fall or do both. Hold keeps it running while your hand stays on the cutoff. It runs on its own clock or follows USB or MIDI clock. Save an edited preset and the sound is waiting next time.

One cable to the computer
The USB-C cable that powers it also carries MIDI, with no driver to install. A 3.5 mm MIDI input takes your other gear, and a 5-pin DIN adaptor is supplied.
