Some sounds only appear when you pull the filter open as a chord swells. DEEPMIND 12X puts 12 analogue voices under 49 semi-weighted keys with velocity and aftertouch. Then it gives you 26 faders to move while you play.
Two oscillators and two LFOs in every voice
Each voice has 2 OSCs and 2 LFOs of its own. The low-pass VCF switches between 4-pole and 2-pole slopes. A high-pass filter and a +12 dB BOOST switch shape the low end. Three envelopes drive the VCA, the VCF and your own modulation. The MOD matrix creates up to 8 modulations from 22 sources and 130 destinations.
Effects, chords and patterns on the panel
Add up to four effects per program from 34 algorithms, and choose one of ten routing modes. CHORD plays a chord from a single key, while POLY CHORD maps chords to individual keys. The ARP/SEQ area runs the arpeggiator, built from the keys you press, and the 32-step control sequencer. TAP/HOLD sets the tempo in time with your playing.
Your moves, recorded in the DAW
With a DAW you can record any automatable parameter, then play back or edit that automation. Over USB it is a class-compliant MIDI device, so no driver installation is required. 5-pin MIDI IN, OUT and THRU connect your other hardware. Built-in Wi-Fi brings remote control from a tablet.
