ADA8200

8-in, 8-out ADAT audio interface with eight Midas-designed microphone preamps and word clock sync

Händler finden ADA8200 (0800-AAB)

Eight more mic inputs over one optical cable.

The drummer wants every drum miked, and the band wants the whole rehearsal recorded. Then your interface runs out of inputs. Connect the ADA8200 to an ADAT-equipped interface, digital mixer or recorder with one TOSLINK cable. Eight more analogue channels join at 24-bit. The whole band can play while every drum keeps its own microphone.

Eight Midas-designed preamps

Every channel has an XLR mic input with a Midas-designed preamp and +15 to +60 dB of gain. A ¼" TRS line input sits beside it. One switch turns on +48 V for all mic inputs, ready for condenser mics or active direct boxes. Signal and clip LEDs on each channel show when to back off the gain.

Eight outputs on the way back

Use the ADAT input too, and eight channels from your mixer or computer return through XLR line outputs. Feed extra monitors for surround mixing, or a separate mixer for more mixing options.

Clocked the way your system needs

Run the ADA8200 as word clock master at 44.1 or 48 kHz. Or let it follow the ADAT input or a BNC word clock input. LEDs show which role it has taken and when it has locked to a valid signal. Tonight the whole band plays, and every part lands on its own track.
