Catch the idea before it fades.
The riff arrives late at night. Plug in your guitar, put a mic in front of you and record the song before the idea fades.
Voice and guitar, each with its own input.
Your vocal mic goes into a combination XLR/¼" input with a Midas-designed preamp and switchable +48 V phantom power for condenser microphones. Your guitar or bass plugs into its own ¼" input, and each input has its own gain knob, so you balance voice and guitar before you press record.
Play to the track, not behind it.
With direct monitor engaged, you hear yourself with zero latency. Set the headphone volume with the output knob, and connect powered studio monitors to the two ¼" TRS line outputs.
Nothing else to plug in.
One USB cable connects the UMC22 to your computer and powers it, and an impact-resistant metal chassis protects it. Macs run it without a driver; Windows users download one from behringer.com. Sample rates: 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz.
