Two microphones, one honest performance.
An acoustic guitar sounds like wood and air, not like a cable. Put one microphone on the guitar, another on your voice, and record the song as one performance.
One mic for the guitar, one for you.
Each combination XLR/¼" input feeds its own Midas-designed preamp, and switchable +48 V phantom power lets you use studio condenser microphones. A pad lowers a strummed guitar that runs hot, and signal and clip LEDs show when a channel is too loud. Prefer the pickup? The line/instrument selector takes it directly.
Hear the take as you play it.
Press direct monitor and your inputs reach the headphones with no delay; the phones output has its own volume knob. Two ¼" TRS line outputs feed powered studio monitors for playback.
Room to room, no power supply.
The computer powers the UMC202HD over USB, and Macs need no driver (Windows users download it from behringer.com). Carry it to whichever room sounds right and record at 24-bit, up to 192 kHz.
