A song often starts with one voice and one instrument. The DICE 1U2 gives each its own input on your desk. Choose it as the audio interface in your DAW software and record.
Two inputs, two jobs
The combo jack takes a microphone on XLR, or a line or instrument signal on a ¼" jack. Its preamp is a Midas design. Press 48 V for a condenser microphone. INPUT 2 is a ¼" line or instrument input. Flip its INST/LINE switch to match the input type.
Levels you can read
Each GAIN knob has a level metering ring. It shows green for signal, amber near clipping and red when the signal clips.
Hear yourself, then the mix
DIR MON gives direct monitoring of the INPUT combo jacks with near zero latency. Select the off position to monitor through your DAW. The MONITOR knob sets the level of OUTPUTS 1(L)/2(R) and the PHONES volume. Connect active studio monitors with ¼" TRS cables.
Data and power through one USB port
Connect it to your computer with the provided USB cable. On most computers, its USB-C port carries both data and power. It measures 42 x 144 x 102 mm and weighs 0.535 kg.
