The bass goes to the desk, the amp stays on stage.
A microphone in front of a bass amp also picks up the rest of the stage. Low frequencies are hard for a microphone to handle. The DI100 taps the signal on its way to the amplifier and routes it to the mixer's microphone input.
From a quiet pickup to a speaker output
Plug your source into the ¼" INPUT, and LINK OUT feeds your backline or monitor amplifier. Two -20 dB switches widen its operating range. Press both for 40 dB of attenuation. It can even tap an amplifier output of up to 3000 watts. Press both switches and set GROUND LIFT on first.

Keyboards and DJ mixers on long runs
Use two DI100s for a stereo keyboard or DJ mixer sent a long way to the front of house desk. The balanced output is at microphone level.

Hum and power, handled
GROUND LIFT can keep the input and output grounds completely separate, to reduce hum or prevent ground loops. The DI100 runs on console phantom power or a 9 V battery and switches between them automatically. Four rubber feet protect the unit and let cables run underneath.
