From a quiet guitar to a hot amplifier output.
The stage changes at every venue: a keyboard rig here, a bass and a guitar amp there. Four channels of active DI turn those sources into balanced signals for the mixing desk, through a transformer-balanced output stage.
One box for every level
Plug the source into the ¼" jack INPUT, or into the unbalanced XLR INPUT. A +20 dB gain switch lifts low-level signals. The -20 dB ATTENUATION switches take anything from a high-impedance guitar to the hot speaker terminals of a PA amplifier. Press both for 40 dB.

Your amp stays on stage
LINK is an unbalanced parallel output. Connect it to the backline or monitor amplifier, while the balanced OUTPUT feeds the desk. The OUTPUT LEVEL meter reads from -24 dB to +18 dB.

Deal with hum and phase at the source
Depending on how the connected devices are grounded, GND LIFT can reduce hum or prevent ground loops. PHASE REVERSE turns the input signal by 180°. For guitar, switchable HIGH CUT filters work at 8 kHz, 6 dB per octave.
