Three jobs in one box
Use it to eliminate AC hum and to break ground loops. It also converts back and forth between unbalanced and balanced signals. It has two inputs, INPUT 1 and INPUT 2, and two outputs, OUTPUT 1 and OUTPUT 2.
Nothing to power
All four connectors are balanced ¼" TRS. The HD400 is a passive device, so it needs no power supply. It weighs about 0.18 kg.
