See which fader is feeding back.
The service starts, a lectern mic rings, and every head turns to the sound desk. Hunting for the band by ear takes time you do not have. This stereo graphic equaliser points you to it, then lets you shape the rest.
The FBQ system lights the problem band
Press FBQ and the frequency that evokes feedback shows as a lit fader LED. All other LEDs are toned down. Lower that fader a little until the feedback stops and the LED goes out.

31 bands and two sweepable cut filters
It is an analogue 31-band equaliser with 1/3-octave bands. RANGE switches the faders between ±12 dB and ±6 dB. LOW CUT sweeps from 10 Hz to 400 Hz, and HIGH CUT from 2.5 kHz to 30 kHz. INPUT boosts or cuts the level by up to 15 dB.

A sub output and a hard bypass
SUB OUT is a balanced XLR connector carrying a summed mono signal. X-OVER FREQ sets its crossover between 30 Hz and 200 Hz. On this model, AUDIO IN/OUT is a relay-driven hard bypass for A/B checks. When the unit is off, inputs and outputs stay connected. Main inputs and outputs are servo-balanced XLR and ¼" TRS.
