Stereo 31-band graphic equaliser with FBQ feedback detection, a limiter, a subwoofer output and a pink noise generator

Find the ringing frequency, then pull one fader.

The PA is up, the mics are open, and one tone starts to howl. On the FBQ6200HD, a lit fader shows you where it lives. It covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz in 31 bands, one-third octave wide.

Feedback you can see

Press FBQ, and the fader LED at the feedback frequency lights while the others dim. Lower that range until the feedback is gone and the LED goes out. AUDIO IN/OUT switches the whole equaliser section on or off, to compare the original and processed signal. When the unit is not powered up, inputs and outputs connect directly.

Shape the whole band

Each fader works over ±12 dB, or ±6 dB with the RANGE switch pressed. LOW CUT sets a high-pass point from 10 to 400 Hz. HIGH CUT sets a low-pass point from 2.5 to 30 kHz. The INPUT control sets the level from +15 to -15 dB.

Guard the system, feed the sub

The limiter has a THRESHOLD from -6 to +22 dB. The balanced XLR SUB OUT carries a summed mono signal, with a crossover from 30 to 200 Hz. A built-in pink noise generator has its own NOISE LEVEL control. Balanced ¼" TRS and XLR connectors handle the inputs and outputs.
