Feedback found, notched and forgotten.
The presenter walks in front of the speakers, and the room starts to ring. FBQ2496 locates up to 20 feedback frequencies per channel. It sets narrow notch filters automatically and leaves the rest of the signal virtually untouched.
Prime the room before the doors open
Hold LEARN longer than one second for AUTOLEARN. The unit sends louder and louder impulses to provoke feedback, then stores the critical frequencies as Single-Shot filters. During the show, automatic filters catch new feedback. FILTER LIFT resets their values after 1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes. If unexpected feedback starts, hold PANIC for up to 1 second to search for and suppress it.

Two channels, two monitor mixes
The 2-channel design suits two monitor paths. Connect pre-fader aux outputs to its inputs, and its outputs to the monitor amplifiers. For speech-only events, SPEECH mode recognises critical frequencies sooner. Inputs and outputs are balanced XLR and ¼" TRS.

An EQ when the show is over
In PEQ mode, each channel offers up to 20 fully parametric filters from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Bandwidth runs from 1/60th of an octave to 10 octaves. It suits studio and home recordings too, and MIDI IN, OUT and THRU are on the rear.
