DCX2496

Digital 24-bit/96 kHz loudspeaker management system with 3 inputs, 6 outputs and programmable crossovers

Händler finden DCX2496 (0825-AAA)

Send each speaker the band it was built for.

Doors open in an hour. The speakers only sound right when every amp gets its own slice of the signal. The DCX2496 splits your mix into lows, mids and highs for up to six power amp channels. Input A also accepts a digital AES/EBU signal. Store the whole setup and recall it at the next show.

Six outputs, mono or stereo

The mono configuration divides the input into six frequency ranges. Three stereo configurations give up to three ranges per side. Set each output's crossover frequency, slope and filter type. In link mode, moving one crossover shifts its neighbours too.

Listen to one band while you tune it

Mute the rest and hear a single band, alone or with its neighbour, while you edit it. Compare checks your edits against the preset you started from. A limit LED on each output shows when its limiter is working. Input C also takes a measuring microphone, with phantom power when AUTO ALIGN is on. Factory presets give you a starting point.

One computer for the whole rack

Connect a PC to the 9-pin RS-232 port to save and load files or control one or several units remotely. Daisy-chain more processors through the two RS-485 link ports. Tomorrow's show starts from tonight's sound.
