DCX2496LE

Digital 24-bit/96 kHz loudspeaker management system with crossover, EQ, delay and limiting on six outputs

Händler finden DCX2496LE (0825-AAC)

Give every speaker only the band it handles well.

A single loudspeaker cannot reproduce the whole audible spectrum with the same quality. Split the signal, and each driver plays only the range it suits. The DCX2496LE makes that split digitally, and its outputs feed your power amps.

Mono six-way or stereo three-way

The mono configuration splits input A into six frequency ranges. Stereo configurations give up to three ranges per side, from inputs A and B. Crossover filters are Butterworth, Bessel or Linkwitz-Riley, with slopes up to 48 dB per octave. The LE has inputs A and B only, and no RS-232 or RS-485 connectors.

Time, tone and protection at the outputs

Each of the six outputs has its own EQ and dynamic EQ. Polarity sets whether an output signal is inverted. Phase fine-tunes the selected output at its upper crossover frequency. Long delay covers speaker cabinets placed several metres apart, as in delay lines away from the stage. Delay correction adjusts for the ambient temperature. A LIMIT LED shows when an output limiter is working.

Settings that stay put

Store your setups as named presets and recall them from internal memory. Page lock and global lock protect settings with a password. Use them during a break in a show, or in a rental system.
