Plug in a microphone and be heard.
Sometimes the whole sound system is one speaker and one voice. The B208D takes a microphone straight into its XLR input. A 20 cm (8") woofer and a compression driver carry it into the room. The cabinet weighs 6.8 kg and measures about 374 x 249 x 205 mm.
One knob and a warning light
The LEVEL knob sets the gain for both inputs. If the CLIP LED lights, turn it back down. HIGH and LOW equalisers cut or boost treble and bass by ±15 dB, at 12 kHz and 80 Hz. An optical limiter and a processor-controlled dynamic equaliser are built in.
Music from a mixer
The ¼" TRS input takes a mixer output or another line-level signal. The XLR input also accepts a balanced mixer output. Use one input at a time, never both. Frequency response runs from 65 Hz to 20 kHz.
Add a second box later
LINK OUTPUT sends a copy of the source signal to another speaker over an XLR cable. With several speakers, adjust the LEVEL knob on each one.
