Start with one speaker, link the next.
Some nights it is one microphone and a voice. Other nights it is the full mix from the desk, sent to several speakers. The B215D is an active 2-way PA speaker built for both.
Microphone or mixer, straight in
The XLR input takes a microphone, a balanced mixer output or the LINK OUTPUT of another speaker. The ¼" TRS input takes a mixer output or other line-level signal. One LEVEL knob sets the gain for both. Use one input at a time, never both together.
More speakers, one cable each
LINK OUTPUT sends a copy of the source signal to another speaker over an XLR cable. With several speakers, set LEVEL on each one. HIGH and LOW EQUALIZER cut or boost treble and bass by ±15 dB. If the CLIP LED lights, reduce the input level.
The crossover sits at 1.9 kHz. The B215D weighs 20.54 kg and measures about 690 x 440 x 335 mm.
