Give your powered speakers a low end.
Powered satellite speakers carry the mix, but the lowest notes need a cabinet of their own. This active PA subwoofer brings a Turbosound speaker and a built-in stereo crossover. Its frequency response is 45 Hz to 150 Hz.
Stereo in, filtered out
The INPUT jacks accept balanced cables with male XLR plugs. THRU jacks send full-range copies of each input signal. OUTPUT jacks send filtered copies through a high-pass filter, for mid- and high-frequency satellite speakers. The guide shows stereo or mono subwoofer setups.
Blend it with the satellites
HIGH CUT sets the upper corner frequency for the subwoofer amplifier, without affecting THRU A/B or OUTPUT A/B. Slowly turn it anticlockwise until the subwoofer and satellites sound balanced. PHASE NORM / REV reverses the output phase to compensate for frequency cancellation between them.
Add weight where you want it
The BOOST switch adds boost at the frequency set by the BOOST FREQUENCY knob. The LIMIT LED lights when the amplifier overloads. The cabinet measures 608 x 467 x 532 mm and weighs 34.4 kg. The IEC power cable is included.
