Your full-range speakers carry the vocals and guitars. The kick drum and bass guitar deserve a speaker of their own. The B1800XP adds that low end, with a frequency response of 40 Hz to 150 Hz.
The crossover is already inside
Your mixer feeds the INPUT jacks over balanced XLR cables. The OUTPUT XLR jacks send filtered copies of each input signal on to your satellite speakers. A high-pass filter prepares them for mid- and high-frequency satellites. The THRU XLR jacks send full-range copies when you need them.
Tune the bass to the room
The BOOST switch adds boost at the frequency you set with the BOOST FREQUENCY knob. HIGH CUT sets the upper corner frequency of the subwoofer amplifier, and leaves the THRU and OUTPUT signals untouched. If sub and satellites cancel each other, the PHASE NORM / REV switch reverses the output phase.
See what it is doing
The SIGNAL LED lights when a signal arrives, and the LIMIT LED lights when the amplifier overloads. The IEC power cable is included. The B1800XP measures 704 x 549 x 554 mm (H x W x D) and weighs 44.9 kg.
