Sunday morning: a reading at the lectern, then the band plays its first song. Both need to sound clear, and the person setting up is often you. The DR115DSP puts a 2-channel mixer, DSP and a 381 mm (15") woofer into one active speaker.
A program for each part of the service
Press the MASTER knob twice to open the sound programs: MUSIC, DJ, LIVE and SPEECH. The 3-band EQ then boosts or cuts treble, midrange and bass by up to 12 dB. A lockout function covers all settings.
In time with the balcony
The DELAY function holds the signal back by a small amount. Music then plays in time with speakers further away, such as main speakers on stage plus speakers in a balcony. The XLR OUTPUT sends the combined CH1 and CH2 signals on to another device.
Microphones, a media player or Bluetooth
CH1 INPUT and CH2 INPUT take balanced XLR or ¼" cables, with CH1 VOLUME and CH2 VOLUME setting their gain. AUX IN connects a media player over a 1/8" TRS cable. Or press the BLUETOOTH button to switch Bluetooth on, with MASTER setting the volume.
