The reading needs clear words. The band after it needs fuller sound. You are the volunteer at the back of the hall, and it has to be right before anyone arrives. The DR112DSP shows its settings on a backlit display and changes them with one MASTER knob.
A sound program for speech or for music
Press MASTER twice to choose a Sound Program: MUSIC, DJ, LIVE or SPEECH. The 3-band EQ menu boosts or cuts treble, mid range and bass by up to 12 dB. A lockout function protects all settings.
Two inputs, plus music before the start
CH1 and CH2 INPUT take balanced XLR or ¼" cables, each with its own VOLUME knob. Set it generally above the midway point for a microphone, or lower for line-level sources. The BLUETOOTH button turns on music streaming, with a range of up to 15 m when nothing interferes. A media player can also connect to AUX IN, summed to mono.
Room for the balcony too
OUTPUT sends the combined CH1 and CH2 signals to another device over XLR. DELAY holds the signal back slightly, so music plays in time with speakers further away. Think main speakers on stage, plus extra speakers in a balcony.
