You arrive with songs on a USB stick, a phone and a microphone. This active speaker takes all three, so there is no separate player or mixer to set up. It weighs 6.8 kg.
Play from what you brought
The built-in media player reads audio files from a USB stick or an SD or MMC card. Stream from your phone over Bluetooth. Smartphones and tablets also connect to the LINE IN jack, and the AUX IN takes RCA cables.
Talk over the music
The MIC combo jack accepts XLR, balanced ¼" TRS or unbalanced ¼" TS connectors, with its own LEVEL knob. The LINE/MP3 knob sets the volume of the LINE IN and MP3 signals. TREBLE and BASS knobs adjust the sound for the speaker. When the internal limiter responds to signal peaks, the CLIP LED lights.
Add a second speaker
Fast-link another PK108A or PK110A over Bluetooth, within 10 metres, to create a stereo pair. The media player then separates the left and right channels. An extra speaker cabinet connects to the EXTENSION OUTPUT, with a minimum total load of 8 Ω.
