Bass that reaches down to 30 Hz.
The kick drum is there, but the dance floor does not feel it. The DR18SUB adds a 460 mm (18") woofer to your system, driven by 800 W RMS and 2400 W peak. Its range is 30 Hz to 150 Hz (±3 dB). It reaches up to 129 dB at 1 m in half space.
Let the crossover split the work
Connect your mixer to the two XLR inputs, then the two XLR outputs to your speakers. In XOVER mode, those outputs pass through a high-pass filter at 90 Hz or 120 Hz. The subwoofer handles the lows, and the speakers the mids and highs. LINK mode sends the full range, 20 Hz to 20 kHz, to additional speakers.
When the bass goes missing
If the subwoofer and your speakers cancel each other out, press PHASE to shift its output by 180°. A green LED confirms signal at the inputs. If the red LIMIT LED stays lit, turn the level down until it lights only occasionally. Amplifier protection covers short circuits, open circuits and heat. The cabinet weighs 41.0 kg.
